Rapid Recap: ‘Cavorite’
It was 1898 in the game of Cavorite, there once was a scientist who discovered an anti-gravity substance which he used to make an anti-gravity spray called cavorite. He used it to take his spaceship to the moon and be the first man to do so. Upon arriving there, he was captured by aliens and taken underground and his spaceship was dismantled. Now you must help him through each level using the cavorite spray, removing obstructions from his path, and helping him find all the scattered pieces of his spaceship, spread throughout the levels. That’s not all, the aliens will try to get to the pieces before the scientist, but using your wits and the spray, you have to outrun and outsmart them. Sounds fun, doesn’t it? Read on below for our full in-depth review of Cavorite.
Gameplay
In each level, there are a number of spaceship parts to be found. You have to use or avoid the blocks in your path by pushing them here and there, using them to activate buttons, making them float by using the cavorite spray, and also, hanging onto then to be lifted into the air to reach a higher area. Activating the buttons opens gates, but be careful, the cavorite spray’s effect doesn’t last long, that’s why you must be quick! Be careful not to open gates in such a way that the aliens reach the parts first, or you can not complete your spaceship! Also, use moving platforms to your use pr avoid them if they are an obstruction. You have a limited amount of cavorite spray in each level. In order to complete one level and advance to the next, you must reach the gate at the end of each level.
Controls
The buttons are at the bottom of the screen and use the arrow buttons to move right and left, a button to jump up, and a button to use the cavorite spray. There is also a gauge that shows the amount of cavorite spray you have left.
