New Apps Coming Later on The Appstore August 17-18th
Hey Guys! Been a while that I stopped writing about ”new apps coming later articles”. Well the only reason was that I was on vacation with the family and was kinda busy all the time so I wasn’t really able to find some time to write huge articles or even small ones! Anyway I’ve skip like 3 weeks now and the only great apps that was released during that time and that you should notice were Silent Ops, Cut The Rope : Experiments, NFS Shift 2 Unleashed, Anomaly Warzone Earth, Flick Soccer, Mega Mall Story, NyxQuest (actually on sale by the way at $0.99), Let’s Golf 3 (free but not better then Let’s Golf 2 in my opinion, since there’s so much IAP’s), Final Fantasy Tactics, Colosseum Heroes, Ninja Fishing, Kickin Momma, Temple Run, Groove Coaster, Gesundheit!, Mad Wheels and more! Anyway lets concentrate now on what’s going to be out tonight at 11PM! Many great games by great companies are coming like iBlast Moki 2 by Godzilab, RALLY-X RUMBLE by NamcoBandai Games, Rogue Sky and Conan – Tower of the Elephant by Chillingo! Well here’s a list of those games that will be available worldwide soon and that is currently available in NZ and Australia (links are from NZ store):
- iBlast Moki 2 -$0.99 (by Godzilab)
- iBlast Moki 2 HD – $2,99 (by Godzilab)
iBlast Moki (the first one) has been one of the greatest iOS physics puzzle game from 2009 till now with still a great rating of 4/5 in the US App Store and has been updated recently too! Well, great news for the iBlast Moki fans! iBlast Moki‘s sequel is coming tonight at 11PM! iBlast Moki 2 will be released as an iPhone version and universal version, and of course, the universal version will have a higher price then the iPhone one. Many people were waiting for this and the graphics looks like to be improved a lot! iBlast Moki has over 85 levels, but in iBlast Moki 2, you’ll be able to experience 90 new and fun levels in 6 colorful islands. There should be new gameplay elements such as the paint bombs, ropes, rising balloons, rotating wheels and more to reach the magic spiral. You’ll also find a little soundtrack of 6 unique musics and build new levels with the advanced physics editor! By the way, FAAD made iBlast Moki free for a short limited time and Godzilab decided to put the HD version also on sale, but at a low price of $0.99… Note that iBlast Moki 2 will take up to 72MBs!
- RALLY-X RUMBLE – $0.99 (by NamcoBandai Games) [On Sale!]
Looks like Namco loves releasing retro games on the iDevices! After releasing Gesundheit! a few weeks ago, the popular gaming company decided to release a new retro online multi-player race game called RALLY-X RUMBLE. Well this game will be released in an opening sale with a low price of $0.99, will be universal, will support the Retina Display and have GameCenter! This game is a reborn version of Namco’s beloved classic arcade hit called “NEW RALLY-X” and has over four different game modes: NEW RALLY-X CLASSIC (the original NEW RALLY-X with updated graphics), NEW-RALLY-X S (a 2-minute score attack game of NEW RALLY-X ), POINT BATTLE (one player becomes the target that the others pursue, all the while racing for flags and points), and PAINT THE TOWN (roads change color as cars pass over them, and the player who paints the most road wins). More modes and version upgrades are planned to be released in future updates (new modes like “Free-Run” and “Assassin” + Game Pack IAP’s coming too). This game will take up to 46MBs.
- Rogue Sky – $0.99 (by Chillingo) [On Sale!]
Oh yeah, looks like each week, Chillingo has to release and/or publish at least two iOS game or more per week! That’s kinda insanely great! Anyway let’s now talk a bit about Rogue Sky! This arcade flying game will be in a special launch sale and won’t be universal, but you can still find an iPhone and iPad version of it. This game was created by the guys at Pebble Bug Studios and published by Chillingo and looks quiet okay in my opinion and has good-looking 3D graphics, but I can still go wrong after trying it maybe..Continuing on though, here’s an App Store description about it: “Take flight in a grinning hot air balloon in this unique arcade flying game. Navigate through the cloud-filled skies, collect valuable power-stars, destroy enemy balloons and avoid floating mines to make it to the end of each stage and collect those precious coins. Featuring gorgeous artwork, addicting gameplay, and a ton of content, Rogue Sky is one title you won’t be putting down in a hurry.” This game will take up to 38MBs.
- Conan: Tower of the Elephant – $0.99 (by Chillingo/Paradox Entertainment)
This barbarian style game is going to be out tonight and you probably heard about the movie Conan: The Barbarian that is now out on your local movie theater! It will support GameCenter and will be universal and the graphics seems to be not that good as I can see from the pictures about it. Here’s the App Store description about it and some info: “Become Conan, the most renowned barbarian hero of all time and embark on an epic, bloody and engrossing adventure. Based on Robert E. Howard’s original short story, The Tower of the Elephant, you must aid Taurus, the prince of thieves and defeat scores of enemies in your quest to claim the fabled treasure of the tower for yourself. Conan: Tower of the Elephant Highlights: Huge adventure with hours of playtime and fifty quests to complete, Explore the rich world of Arenjun to uncover secret treasures, hidden quests and the stories of its citizens, Unique gesture based combat system means you can master your attacks with the touch of a finger, Comic style cut scenes keep you engrossed in the epic legend of Conan. Battle against a variety of enemies and take on powerful, deadly bosses, and buy equipment/items from street merchants, or grab an ice-cold beer from the tavern to replenish your strength.” This game will take up to 141MBs!
More indie games are coming tonight like Silly Owls by an indie co. or Solitaire by the guys at Backflip Studios but those aren’t looking to be must have in the future…still again..maybe I could be wrong after testing them or after you guys test it…Well we never know, we will see.
