How to: Enable the new iOS 4.3 Multitasking Gestures on your iPad [Beginner Level]
Got your new iPad 2 or still rocking out with the original iPad and want to enable the new iOS 4.3 Multitasking gestures on your iPad? Well, it’s quite easy in fact, see the how to steps below after the break.
- Head over the the Mac App Store and purchase Xcode 4 if you haven’t already, once it is done downloading launch Xcode.
- Connect your iPad 2 (or iPad) to your computer, and should appear in the Organizer window under “Devices”.
- Select your iPad under the Organizer and click on the “Use for Development” button.
NOTE: If you’re asked to enter your iOS developer info go ahead and enter them if you have that information, if not, click “Cancel” on the dialog box and ignore the error message. - Then Xcode will activate the developer features on your iPad.
- Launch Settings.app on your iPad, tap “General”, and finally turn Multitasking Gestures on.
