AT&T CEO, Randall Stephenson, claims the App Store is bad for Consumors
Well, according to AT&T’s CEO, Randall Stephenson, Apple’s App Store for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, along with Google’s Android Market for a massive amount of phones, are apparently “bad for consumers”.
“You purchase an app for one operating system, and if you want it on another device or platform, you have to buy it again, that’s not how our customers expect to experience this environment.” – Randall Stephenson
But my question to you, Randall Stephenson, what about your own AT&T AppCenter? With all due respect, of course.
Anyway though, another thing to point out, is that well over than 10 billion apps have been downloaded on the iOS platform that alone should at least say that your customers are a lot more than happy with the current app purchasing model as well.
