iOS 4.3 to feature Personal Hotspot for iPhones
Well, folks, as all of you know (or should know at least) Apple has released the first beta of their upcoming iOS, iOS 4.3 that is. iOS 4.3 includes a number of new features such as a new FaceTime icon, new multi-touch gestures for the iPad, support for more powerful graphics processors, and more. However one of the most exciting and much anticipated features as well, is a personal hotspot to share your 3G connection with other devices such as a laptop or tablet — essentially you will be able to turn your iOS 4.3 device into something like a Verizon Mi-Fi (for example) and share your 3G connection among different devices as a Wi-Fi signal. Currently I’m not sure how this will work for the iPod Touch, if you’ll share the Wi-Fi signal you are using or what, so I guess we’ll have to see what Apple does.
