Well folks, 2010 has been one amazing year, with the Apple’s iPhone 4, Apple’s iPad, Epic Games‘ Infinity Blade [REVIEW] released, PocketFullOfApps hitting well over a thousand visitors a day, Gameloft‘s N.O.V.A. 2, and so much more, it’s finally coming to an end. To commemorate, acknowledge, and award to best iOS developers of 2010, we here at PocketFullOfApps are holding the PocketFullOfApps 2010 Developer Awards from now until the end of the year for you to vote on who you think is the best iOS Developer of 2010.
For me, it’s a very hard decision with Epic Games‘ Infinity Blade, Gameloft‘s N.O.V.A. 2, EA‘s Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, Firemint‘s Real Racing 2, ‘ Aralon: Sword and Shadow, all the way to Chillingo‘s Angry Birds, and to Rockstar‘s Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown. It’s taken me a good amount of time to think of who I’d vote for, but I’ve narrowed my vote down to Firemint. Sure, Gameloft‘s N.O.V.A. 2 and EA‘s Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit are great games, but once I started to play Real Racing 2, I was blown away by the graphics and amazed at how well the game was put together. Though I still tip my hat off to the other developers out there on the App Store, big and small, for what they’ve done, made, developed, introduced and such, but Real Racing 2 got my vote.
But simply my vote alone shouldn’t set the tone for everyone’s vote or opinion. So, with that said, you can vote for who you think is the best iOS developer of 2010 either above or below. At the end of the voting, I’ll tally up the votes, see who is voted the best iOS Developer of 2010, and then make the announcement. We’ll have a 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, and some honorable mentions at the end of the voting process. Voting ends on the 31st (of this month) and the top developers will be announce with their respectful places. We hope to see all of you who read this and hear about this to participate, comment, and retweet this on Twitter to get the word around. Thanks and see you around next year!
