Rapid Recap: Pass Football
The number of football games has been increasing over the past year, some of the games find themselves worthy and others just don’t cut it. Pass Football sounds like a really fun game to play, but is it a worthy football game or just not good enough to cut it?
Pass Football, is a very easy to understand game. Basically, you have five players on your team and five on the opponents including the goal keepers and you have to pass the ball in order to get past opposition or get the ball down near the goals. Once you done that you have to clock right by the goals in which direction the player will shoot the ball, if you click it before your players have the ball when you do get it the player will shoot at that position. Just in case I am confusing you take a look at the picture to the right and you’ll get a better understand of what I am trying to say.
Once you fully understand how the game works and how to play the game becomes really fun, goals don’t come easy so it is quite challenging. The way the game is played, and how it runs is what I think it great. An original idea that has come out with something really cool and if you’re a football fan then you should check it out, its good fun.
Once you’re familiar with the game and how it works you’ll then be able to play short three minutes games. You will play for the duration of that time and not only is your task to win but to beat the high score displayed on the menu screen. Going into the options screen you can change your teams color between red and blue, and turn the game sounds on or off.
The game offers some good gameplay but due to the style of the game and the way it works this game isn’t for fast paced players. The game can be quite slow and sometimes even boring, so if you don’t like that type of game then maybe you should be very careful with this one. Maybe if you like the faced paced, realistic football game head over for X2 Football, because this isn’t the game for you. Sometimes when you’re playing though the fact that this game isn’t a full on huge party production it sort of seems to be a third party game all together.
In the end the game experience is fun but if you’re into the fast moving ball and the running up and down the pitch with your own controls then pass this one and you’ll be better off with a real simulator. For those looking for more of a laid back, pretty boring and average football experience then this will for sure be the game for you. Easy to learn controls, and a very short but long enough game time of 3 minutes isn’t enough the blanace out the very slow moving ball, slow runners and just boring experience this game has. Although if you’re that good and you can score goals like a machine then maybe you’re getting a better experience than others.
Pass Football is acceptable, if you don’t mind pretty slow soccer games and can’t afford something like X2 Football then this game is alright, the game is also a good time waster. The game isn’t horrible bad, but the game isn’t the best either, so Pass Football gets a decent 3/5.
