iPhone OS 4.0 SDK Beta 2 Reveals More Evidence of Video Chat

Thanks to Gizmodo for the picture!
Well, this isn’t much a surprise that the iPhone OS 4.0 SDK Beta 2 reveals more evidence of video chat. Then again, that lost and found (Apple says it was stolen however) iPhone 4G has a front-facing camera, but still does’t support the video chat rumor very much yet still raises questions. Now, with this iPhone OS 4.0 SDK Beta 2 has revealed more evidence of video chat with these lines of code:
ACCOUNT_NOT_REGISTERED_MESSAGE = “This device has not been registered for video conferencing.”;
MAVCHAT_COULD_NOT_CONNECT_NO_REMOTE_WIFI = “The video call could not connect because a remote Wi-Fi connection could not be established.”;
IMAVCHAT_DISCONNECTED_NO_LOCAL_WIFI = “The video call disconnected because the local Wi-Fi connection was lost.”;
It also appears that Apple may include video chat in its new Game Center social gaming network according to these lines of code:
IMAVCHAT_ERROR_NO_SUCH_PLAYER_ID = “No Such Player ID”;
IMAVCHAT_ERROR_NO_SUCH_ACHIEVEMENT = “No Such Achievement”;
IMAVCHAT_ERROR_UNRECOGNIZED_GAME_DESCRIPTION_HEADERS = “Unrecognised Game Descriptor Headers”;
IMAVCHAT_ERROR_NO_SUCH_GAME = “No Such Game”;
Also, here’s some more lines of code that pertain to video chat:
Video chat should be obvious by now that it will be supported with the iPhone 4G, however, Apple may decide to remove video chat at the last minute (lets hope they don’t)! PocketFullOfApps will post more info as it comes.
