More pictures of the iPhone 4G Prototype Released
More pictures have been released of Apple’s upcoming iPhone, now this iPhone may be a prototype, however, and could be changed. Some people think this is a controlled leak, while others think Apple’s fooling us into thinking this is the next generation iPhone. Others suggest that this is a accident and this possible next generation iPhone found its way into the world some how. In the last iPhone 4G post, I said that I think that this iPhone that was found was a fake, but with more information being released and other things, I now think this is the real deal. Now, Gizmodo has gotten hands-on with this possible upcoming generation iPhone and has released more photos as well as a video. Currently, the iPhone will not boot because Apple probably remotely killed the device. Apple is definitely interested in getting this iPhone back to their labs as well.
Now, this iPhone was found on the floor at a bar in San Jose, California inside of a iPhone 3G case. The reason it was inside of a iPhone 3G case was to hide it and make people think that it’s a iPhone 3G. This iPhone also has a front facing camera, higher resolution screen, camera flash, and some other things. The full list of new things include:
- Front facing camera
- Better regular back-camera
- Camera flash
- Micro-SIM
- Improved display
- 2nd mic
- 2 buttons for volume
- Power, mute, and volume buttons are metallic
Also, the back of this iPhone has a glass or ceramic or a shiny plastic backing. That back is also flat as well and the battery is 16% bigger. There are many other things changed, the full list is:
- The back is flat
- An aluminum border
- Slightly smaller screen than the 3GS
- 3 grams heavier than the iPhone 3GS
- 16% Larger battery than the iPhone 3GS
- Internals components are smaller
I think this is the real deal now, unlike my previous post about this iPhone and how I think it’s a fake. The next generation iPhone will be announced sometime in June or July and released the same day or later after that announcement. PocketFullOfApps will post more details as they come so keep checking back for more, new updates! Anyway, here are the pictures thanks to Gizmodo:
