Pre-orders for Apple’s iPad have started today for the US.  As you can see from the above image, the 16 GB iPad Wi-Fi is $499.00, the 32 GB iPad Wi-Fi is $599.00, and the 64 GB iPad Wi-Fi is $699.00.
