Modern Combat: Sandstorm's Multiplayer Update Now Live
Finally, after a long, long wait, Modern Combat: Sandstorm [REVIEW] has finally gotten it’s online multiplayer update. The multiplayer update consists of local multiplayer and online multiplayer. This update is free to those that have bought Modern Combat: Sandstorm already, if you haven’t got Modern Combat: Sandstorm it’s currently $4.99 which is a steal. When Modern Combat: Sandstorm fist came out, it was $6.99 and obviously had no multiplayer. We also reviewed Modern Combat: Sandstorm, click here to see the review.
Some users have been saying that they can’t connect due for various reasons. First off, this game works best (and if not only) via Wi-Fi. If you are on a iPhone, you need to turn “Airplane Mode” to on, thus, you are using Wi-Fi , not 3G or Edge and that should help your connection issues. Second, you need to have UPNP enabled on your Wi-Fi router in order to play Modern Combat: Sandstorm. We aren’t sure if turning on “Airplane Mode” is a bug or a fluke. Another thing is some users complain the game of crashing a lot. If the game is crashing, it would be best to restart your device, and then launch Modern Combat: Sandstorm again. If you game is still crashing, remove Modern Combat: Sandstorm then reinstall it again.
Seen as how this update just came out, it’s too early to tell much. Hopefully, Gameloft can fix these issues, the issues reported are actually true, not just a fluke. This new update also includes 3 new levels that are for online only. Also, here are some screenshots of the online multiplayer update:
