It seems like Jonathan Mulcahy, the creator of Z is for Zombie [REVIEW] and his upcoming sequel S is for Santa, is going to treat us this holiday season with another upcoming game from his alphabet series called V is for Vortex. The game is an inspiration of the first-person puzzle game Portal by Valve gameplay-wise, but of course, with a touch of his trademark hand-drawn art style.

The game will have a story where you woke up in an unknown and strange testing facility, armed with only a ‘teleporting’ gun. You must find ways through the game’s 18 levels with some strategy involved.

The game is set to be released around the end of November and early December, but knowing Apple’s approval process, this isn’t final. The developer also promised 18 more levels via an update come January of next year. Keep checking back and watch this space as we’ll have a full written review for V is for Vortex and probably S is for Santa as they come out.
