Guitar Rock Tour 2 vs. BeatRider Touch
If you are a big Guitar Hero/Rock Band fan like me you were probably looking forward to Guitar Rock Tour 2 like me. Well, to say the least it’s decent, but not to good. If you are looking for the closest Guitar Hero/Rock Band experience you would have to choose either between Guitar Rock Tour 2 or BeatRider Touch [LITE Version]. The reason I bring in BeatRider Touch is because BeatRider Touch has 5 note buttons like Guitar Hero/Rock band. On the other hand Guitar Rock Tour 2 has only 4.
Guitar Rock Tour 2:
BeatRider Touch:
BeatRider Touch delivers the challenging factor because of the 5 note buttons. Guitar Rock Tour 2 delivers the realness factor because there are 3D characters on a stage playing instruments and you can even choose your own character and guitar which is nice but fails to bring the challenging aspect of the game because of the 4 note buttons. While BeatRider Touch doesn’t have the realness factor because it doesn’t have the 3D characters or people on stage playing instruments. The graphics in Guitar Rock Tour 2 are really good but could use a little more work. Guitar Rock Tour comes with 18 built in songs and in the future there will be downloadable song packs for a little extra money which is a nice feature. Both games are great and $4.99 but it’s what you like either the challenging factor or the realness factor. Another good thing about Guitar Rock Tour 2 is that you can download song packs for a little extra money which is nice. On the other hand, BeatRider Touch you can listen to your own songs not built in songs which is even better that downloading the extra song packs. Either way they are both great games just depends what aspect you are looking for.
