Here’s the story of the game:

After being trained by the ancient fathers known only as The Order, Vincent began his life as a vampire hunter. His deep hatred for the blood-sucking scourge grew exponentially after his bride was brutally murdered. Vincent’s anger grew and the destruction that lay in his wake brought him to the attention of Valafar, the evil Vampire leader.

Valafar, The highest of the Vampire Lords challenged Vincent to dual. Valafar was too strong and upon loosing the fight and being cast into the depths of the underworld. Only the memory of his fallen bride remained with Vincent, now a shadow of his former self.

Driven by revenge, Vincent now returns to the mortal realm to bring war to the plague of vampires that had infested or destroyed all that was good in the world.

It has been a while before new screenshots and/or a video of Vampire Origins has been released. Well, Chillingo’s PR (public relations) has sent me some new details, screenshots, and even a video. Now, from the e-mail I got, Vampire Origins should be out soon it seems. Here’s some info on Vampire Origins:

The game pits Dracula’s arch-rival Van Helsing against legions of underworld creatures. If you fancy Gothic adventures paired with intense fighting, Vampire Origins will boil the blood in your veins.
If you’ve ever played Diablo, you’ll feel right at home with Vampire Origins. A simple battle system ditches complex inventory and weaponry in favor of a point-and-click approach of attacking creatures by tapping them. It may sound boring on paper, but the fast-paced action balances things out. Fast, very agile enemies leave you little time to ponder your next move or marvel Gothic architecture. Although Vampire Origins is an adventure, with some puzzles and lots of exploration, action and killing enemies come before everything else.

I have got a gameplay video (see above video) and even some screenshots to share with you. You will find the video and screenshots below, but the video is at the top of this post also. No word from Chillingo when Vampire Origins will be released and no info and the price either.
