Zombify Me is basically an application where you load or take new photos, choose from many if the gory zombie effects and then have a zombified version of yourself, or anyone else!

Positives

When you launch the app, you are presented with two options, ‘select a victim,’ and ‘transform’. Press select a victim to either load an image from your library or simply take a picture use. When you’re done with this, tap transform and cycle through the different types of effects and stuff, and move it here and there on the victim’s face for the effects to fit in perfectly. After doing that, you have four options, share the image on Facebook, tweet it on Twitter, e-mail it to someone, or simply save it in your photo library.

Negatives

There’s nothing I didn’t like about Zombify Me, however, it could use a few improvements in general.

Bottom Line

Zombify Me is great and if not the best, zombification apps out there and costs only a buck. While I couldn’t exactly come up with a negative point, this app could still use a bit of improvement in general.

Worried Marbles is a really great and fun game, where you have a board with holes in and rods through it with holes in them too. Move the rods here and there so that the holes on the rods overlap the holes on the board so that the marbles can fall through. You have 6 marbles in the start which you can place on the board and whoever is the last man standing, wins.

Positives

Worried Marbles is an extremely fun game, that isn’t very time-consuming. Playing one round takes less than 2 minutes, so it’s a great Pick ‘n Play game. Also, Worried Marbles‘ graphics support the Retina Display and are really crisp and clear. The animations throughout Worried Marbles are smooth as well along with the background music and sound effects are good. The gameplay is great, when you start playing, you may not understand, but a quick read through “Help” will get that straightened out.

Negatives

There was nothing negative that I think of Worried Marbles.

Bottom Line

Worried Marbles is an excellent game when you have some spare time, though it may not be for adults, but it is fun for little ones and teenagers. The graphics, sounds, and gameplay are amazing. At only $0.99, it is a must-have.

Bird Smash Pro is an extremely addictive and very good looking game where you play as a pig, using motion controls to move it right and left and use any of the wide variety of weapons you have to hit and destroy different types of robotic birds trying to kill you first. Positives

Bird Smash Pro is full of good stuff. The best thing is the graphics — with Retina Display support they are really crisp, clear and appealing. BirdSmash has awesome and colorful particle explosions as well, which makes the game so much more fun.

The controls are awesome too — turn your iDevice to move your pig left and right and touch on the screen to shoot at the direction your pointing. You have a variety of 4 weapons and an ability to fling birds around. Three of them are limited while the ‘Kuni’ has unlimited ammunition — and can be useful when you finish all other weapons. The weapons include a Kuni, Super Kuni, Missle, Ballistic missle, and the ability called ‘Force’ which lets you move birds around and throw them here and there in order to deplete their health.

There are many different types of birds for you to destroy. Also, there is wind that will change the direction of your projectiles, so there is a wind sock to help you with that. Another awesome and quite fun feature is the ability of the application to scan your contacts (after you giving it permission) and give the birds names from your contacts! That’s right, if you have a contact named ‘Aaron Whitfield’ some of the birds are going to be called ‘Aaron’. You can also upgrade your weapons by using collected eggs, which is your currency.

Negatives

Well…I tried and tried. But couldn’t find anything that I didn’t like.

Botton Line

BirdSmash is an awesome, addictive, good-looking, fun, and awesome arcade game, that could be the best in its genre! The graphics are excellent and appealing, the controls are great, and the gameplay is simple amazing. The upgradable weapons and the contact names feature give this game points too! BirdSmash gets a rating of 5/5.

Just like Infinity Blade and a few other games out on the App Store — BizangoBlast is an Unreal Engine 3 title and is really one of the most gorgeous games out there. It could be called a fully 3D Angry Birds-type of game, but other than the main theme behind it, it doesn’t resemble Angry Birds, in fact, you may like it better than Angry Birds. BizangoBlast is not a pick up ‘n play game, but instead a fully 3D, Unreal Engine powered looking masterpiece. What you do is easy to understand, you control your cannon (i.e. make it aim up, down, left, and right) and then fire one of your limited shots per level, in order to hit the towers thus causing you to earn points. Bonus points can also be earned by hitting the satellite-like structure directly. Read on below for our full review of BizangoBlast.

As you may have figured out, BizangoBlast is an extremely good-looking game. The graphics are cartoonish and the colors are really crisp as well. In addition to that, the environment is really awesome and good-looking too. The background music and sound effects are nice while gameplay overall is engaging and really appealing.

Negatives

BizangoBlast is one of those games for which you can’t think of many negative things. The only thing I found difficult was the aiming strategy — an update released recently made it much better but it still is slightly difficult to know where your fireball is going to hit.

Bottom Line

BizangoBlast is a great game and I strongly recommend it to those Angry Birds fans who have gotten bored with it and are looking for a great new challenge. BizangoBlast costs only $0.99, which is actually cheap for a game powered by such an awesome gaming engine.

Vermes on Mars is a simple yet fun game, where you control your vehicles around mars, defending yourself from the ‘Vermes’ and fighting them as well, so you can advance to the next of the many levels it has. The theme is that there are valuable minerals on the planet Mars, so we send unmanned vehicles to extract it, but on arrival, we greeted by unwanted and unexpected guests. Positives

Vermes on Mars is a good game that can be put under the pickup ‘n play genre. Whenever you feel bored and have some time to give to your iPhone, this is one of those you will play. It has neat graphics that support the Retina Display. One of the main features of the game are its sound effects and background music. The music fits the game well, and provides a fun experience while you play the game, adding to its positives. The fun sound effects also add to this.

Negatives

One thing that I didn’t like that much were the controls. You tap on a side of the screen to switch to moving your vehicle and you tap on the other to switch to firing weapons. In weapons mode, you tap where you want to shoot, while in movement mode you draw a trail. Most of the times I forget which mode I’m in thus I end up tapping both sides of the screen to make sure I’m on the mode I need and till that time the Vermes attack and I lose some health.

Bottom Line

Other than an issue with the controls, Vermes on Mars provides a short, fun experience. Though it has tons of levels for you to play through, they will feel repetitive and you won’t find yourself playing it for hours. Since it costs just $0.99, it’s a good game if you have a few minutes to spare, but if you’re the kind of gamer who sits and plays games for hours, this game isn’t for you. Bottom line: Vermes on Mars is a good game and a job well done.
