4th Generation iPod Touch Has the Retina Display but no IPS Panel
The IPS (inter plane switching) panel has been used for everything from the iMac to the iPad to iPhone 4 and provides a much greater viewing range than a standard display. But this time there’s an exception, the 4th generation iPod Touch doesn’t have an IPS panel, however, it does have the Retina Display. One of the reasons may be because of the cost, Apple may have wanted to keep the iPod Touch at the same price and add new feature, but not all of them without raising the price of it. Another possibility is that Apple wanted the iPhone 4 to have all the nicer features because its their flagship device. Still though, the new iPod Touch has some nice features such as the Apple A4 chip, 2 cameras (not as nice as the iPhone 4′s however), Retina Display, and others.



Well, it may just be that the next generation iPhone will have a 960×640 screen, which is 4X the resolution of the iPhone 3GS. Now, you are probably asking “How has this been confirmed?”. Well, with all of these iPhone 4G
