‘Gravity Lab’ Review
Every week I wait for Wednesday, which in the app world is the launch of the weekly biggest games. I am always hoping to find a nice little gem to have in my app collection that I will want to come back to again and again. Well this week I managed to find Gravity Lab, a puzzler that stands out from the rest. Was it worth the wait or was it another one of those apps that are “ok”?
Gravity Lab as the name mentions is a gravity-based puzzle game with 75 levels spanning across 3 different worlds of interesting and realistic level designs. To play the game you aim the robot by stretching him forward and releasing him towards the different gravity infused blocks.

There are various types of color-coded blocks with different gravity elements, some blocks may go up, others down, even blocks that go left or right, and many different more gravity elements thrown into the mix. There are additionally different other mechanics to help aid you in knocking down the blocks such as trampolines, bombs, and many more you discover as you get deeper into the levels. I like the approach they took with the star system, most apps have you collecting stars directly however, not Gravity Lab they decided to let gravity do the work.
Gravity Lab has great polish graphics with some 3D effects to the mix as well as a great soundtrack. It additionally, showcases off the iPhone’s Retina Display quite well and it is a universal app supporting all iDevices. It comes integrated with Game Center support as well as various achievements one can achieve throughout the game.

Overall I feel this is a great polished gravity puzzler, there are minor errors keeping it from perfection but nothing to take away from the game. If you are a fan of puzzles or even if you are not so much you really should try this out. This game offers a unique concept I have yet to see elsewhere in the App Store.
My score: 4/5 Stars
