SRRN Games was founded by three graduate students with a passion for game development: Aujang Abadi, Tyler Carbone and Nathaniel Givens. The game is free to download, coming with lots of levels to tackle.  There is also a one-off $0.99 in-app purchase, which unlocks all levels — including any more that arrive in future updates.

The game provides a fun control system, combining drawing and taping. Players direct their commandos by drawing the path they would like them to take, then throwing snowballs at all-comers as they follow the path.

There are a variety of medals available, which are up for grabs for each level. The better the outcome of each level, the better the medal, ranging from simply capturing the flag, to perfect completion without get being hit.

Each soldier has limited health, so if they are hit enough times they will be out of the game. They can also only carry limited snowballs, so a player’s strategy of when to reload is critical. There are also bonuses to look out for, including; replenish health, instant reload, and increase snowballs.

Chosen by fate, it is now up to the player to be the hero as rock star Keith. In the battle against the undead army, he not only has the help of deadly guitar riffs, but every 40 seconds he can also call on his special Rolling Stone attack in genuine rock star style. Just how all the inhabitants of the Brookelands were transformed into skeletons, zombies and blobs of slime is told in the lovingly drawn comics in the campaign mode. Players can also unlock up to five additional crazy characters for their Siegebreaker team in order to stop the enemy hordes with their help. But the positioning and timing of the various skills and power ups demand a lot of tactical talent. The more characters there are on the screen, the harder it is to coordinate their actions.

In the Siege mode, players can go after the highscore with the Siegebreaker team unlocked in the campaign. The longer the king survives, the better the score, which can also be shared with friends and the rest of the world thanks to connection to Game Center. Valuable Power Orbs, which are needed to upgrade values and purchase new abilities for the team, can also be earned in the Siege mode.

Additional Power Orbs or a small but permanent health bonus for the kings’ hit points can be bought through in-app purchase. The first additional level pack is also available for the release for just $1.99, unlocking four challenging bonus levels and a mystery character. - Floating Rocks: These low-orbit platforms were designed as opulent resorts. Now they’re desirable vantage points. This map provides the ideal environment for close-range conflict between small teams. Hold the high ground to rain gunfire down on enemies.
