Hey everybody, it’s HCGamer back again to tell you about another great game I’ve been playing lately. It’s called Dizzypad and it’s just another one of the great games produced by Nimblebit! Now let’s see if they can bring Zero Gear to the iPhone……..

You play as a frog. But just just a frog, one of 16 frogs! You start off playing as just one, but you can unlock others by gaining more and more achievements in-game. The game starts you spinning slowly around in a circle on a big lilypad. You must wait until the arrow reaches the point at which you can jump safely to the next lilypad. You can also jump from one lilypad to another one, skipping one, which gives you an extra life and adds to your flower count (found on the leaderboards).

As you progress, your lilypad will continue to decrease in size, and you will begin spin much faster. There will also be less lilypads to jump onto aswell, making it more difficult to keep moving without inevitably falling into the water. Don’t count on scoring too high in the leaderboards anyway, the devs already have that covered. ;)

Overall, this is a very peaceful and serene, yet challenging and fast-paced game. I’m going to give it a 9 for replayability, because it’s a pick-up-and-play game but being so simple and peaceful, it could get a little boring after a while. I’m going to give it a 10 for graphics, as the dev obviously knew what he was doing on this one. I’ll give it a 10 aswell for controls, as all you had to do was click to go to the next lilypad, simple as can be with no problems at all. And finally I’ll give it a 9 for price, because this game could have been $1 or $2, but I can’t really decide what would be the more fair price. It’s still a great price though. So that gives it a 9.5 overall, which would round up, giving us a grand total of 10. I would recommend this game to casual gamers and hardcore gamers alike; you definitely won’t regret this purchase. Well, I gotta go edit my DeputyDogGames Twitter, so this is HCGamer, signing off.
