We have got some exiting news if you’ve been following the development of the upcoming game, Dig!, from Crescent Moon Games as well as Tasty Poison Games. The developers have announced that the game is set to land later this week on Thursday for $2.99. In addition to that, Dig! has gotten a cool launch trailer which you can see below.

Crescent Moon Games has announced their latest upcoming game, Dig!, a skill-based arcade game for iOS. Developed by Tasty Poison Games, the brains behind popular dungeon crawler Pocket RPG.

Douglas Chase is a not-so-great archaeologist who works for a failing museum. He must collect artifacts to save his job and the museum. Unfortunately, he is cursed by Nigel the mummy who has been after him since grade school!

Players must dig their way through each level as they try to avoid two main enemies — moles and Nigel the Mummy. The former patrols the edges whilst the latter randomly travels the map. If the moles catch the player on an edge or if Nigel touches the line, it’s back to square one. Once the player has boxed out 75% of the area, they can progress onto the next level. Dig! initially began development with heavy inspiration from QiX and has resulted in something much more enjoyable, fit for iOS and Android.

Taking QiX a step further, there are even more enemies with different movement or attack strategies. There is even a museum to stock up as a goal for the player to work towards, along with power-ups and perks to deepen the gameplay. Dig! features 4 zones with 6 levels each, laid out in glorious 3D. Players must collect power-ups, hats (which give perks), artefacts, and much more, all whilst avoiding 9 different types of enemies. On top of all that, there are also museum collections to discover, providing hours of fun.
