It’s been quite some time since we’ve last seen or heard anything from the well-known App Store developer (and console), Capcom, that is famous for their zombie shoot em’ up games, however, that is no more. Just today, Capcom released another addition to the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil Mercenaries VS., onto the App Store for $2.99. Resident Evil Mercenaries VS. features:

It appears as if Resident Evil Mercenaries VS. is a co-op game with varies game modes and features online plus local multiplayer. If happen to be a fan of 2D platformers, well, you’re in for a treat. Just recently, the well known App Store developers, Capcom, released their very first 2D platformer, MaXplosion, onto the App Store for a mere $0.99. MaXplosion features:

• 20 explosive levels filled with interactive objects including Rotating Platforms, Water Jets, Lasers, Rideable Nukes, Missiles and more.
• Three epic boss fights and six enemy types
• Game Center Integration with 44 achievements and high score leaderboards for each of the 20 levels, as well as an overall high score leaderboard.
• Post your high scores to Facebook.
• Retro stylized cartoon artwork.

For those of you who are Game Center fanatics, MaXplosion boasts a whopping 44 Game Center achievements, which is a lot for just $0.99 and will help you boost your achievement number for a low cost too. MaXplosion costs $0.99 and weighs in at 81 MB.

Well folks, the wait is over, Capcom has finally released their somewhat anticipated zombie survival game, Dead Rising Mobile, onto the App Store just recently for a decently reasonable price of $4.99. Dead Rising Mobile features:

*Survive in a shopping mall overrun with an army of undead where everything and anything is a weapon.
*Just because it’s a zombie apocalypse doesn’t mean you can’t be social.
If you fall to the shambling hoard you can send out a distress call via Facebook or Twitter to your friends.
If your friends revive you, they will get extra bonus point. If they don’t you can rise as a “NAMED ZOMBIE” in their game. Help each other to survive in this nightmare!!
*Move environmental objects like tables or garbage cans *Chow down on various “mall food” to revive health.
*Snatch items from different stores to use as weapons, including golf clubs, fry pans and more!
*Context sensitive controls pop up as need allowing you to perform complex actions with a tap of the button.

As of now, there’s no iPad specific version available, however, I’m not completely sure if Capcom will release one. My guess would be that it won’t happen, but we’ll have to wait and see about that. Dead Rising Mobile costs a reasonable $4.99 and weighs in at 169 MB.

Dead Rising Mobile on the App Store.

Early back in October, Capcom announced that they will be binging their somewhat popular PS3 and XBOX 360 game, Dead Rising, to the iPhone and iPod Touch later this year. Well, Touch Arcade has gotten a hands-on preview and has released some screenshots along with some info as well. First off, Dead Rising Mobile will have the same weapons and items you can use to smash or shoot away at those zombies as they enter in the mall you are trying to defend. It will also have the same level fun factor as the console version does, however, it will still have some of the same problems the console version did. For example, it won’t have the best controls and will have some bugs or glitches like the console did. Apparently, the framerate is low and it seems to take a long time to load between the various areas your can go throughout. Capcom is planning on releasing Dead Rising Mobile next Thursday, however, the price is not known. But as always, PocketFullOfApps will keep you updated as time progresses.

Early last month, we got word that Capcom would be bringing their popular zombie surviving game, Dead Rising, to the iPhone and iPod Touch as a new app native for the iOS after much speculation and rumors. Just recently, more screenshots have been released for Dead Rising, along with those screenshots, a gameplay video was released last month which is below. In Dead Rising you will play as Frank as you’re stranded in the Williamette Mall that has been overtaken by zombies, you have to use any possible means to kill them and stay alive as you wait on reinforcements to arrive from the military. For those of you who are zombie lovers, this definitely is a  game worth considering when released.
