Well, this is a big surprise. Yesterday, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2 by Activision was released onto the App Store for $9.99. Why is this a big surprise? Well,  Activision never released any info on this game and kept it quite this whole entire time (please correct me if I am wrong) from the public. For those of you that are wondering, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2 is the successor to Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D. The graphics in Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2 look like they are better than Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D. Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2 features:

• Multiplayer action
• 9 characters
• 12 race tracks
• Power ups and weapons

Well, here’s two popular apps that just went on sale: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 and Super Monkey Ball 2.

First off, Activision‘s skateboarding game Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 went on sale for $4.99, before this sale, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 was $9.99. This is very surprising how Activision would do this, plus this is a high quality game as well. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 features:

• Ride as Tony Hawk, one of the greatest skateboarding icons of all time
• Skate as one of 12 other featured pros
• Master signature pro moves and hundreds of tricks including nose/tailslides, nose/bluntslides, lip tricks, nollies, manuals and more

Second, SEGA has dropped the price of their game Super Monkey Ball 2 to $5.99, before this sale, Super Monkey Ball 2 was $6.99. Super Monkey Ball 2 features:

Activision has released Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies for the iPad at $14.99, while the iPhone and iPod Touch version costs $9.99. Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies does have HD graphics for those of you that are curious. The iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad versions feature:

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 was first announced from Tony Hawk him self with even a screenshot, but no definite release date was announced. The game looks more or less identical to the Nintendo 64 version, so if you might want to pick Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 up. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 features:

• Ride as Tony Hawk, one of the greatest skateboarding icons of all time.
• Skate as one of 12 other featured pros.
• Master signature pro moves and hundreds of tricks including nose/tailslides, nose/bluntslides, lip tricks, nollies, manuals and more.

I’ve played Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 for the Nintendo 64 and I loved it, so when I get a chance I will definitely download the iPhone and iPod Touch version. Judging form the screenshots the controls look a little complicated, but other than that, it looks fun. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 costs $9.99 and weighs in at 91MB.

Yep, that’s right, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 is coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch. The man himself even announced this, via his Twitter, but the tweet announcing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 for the iPhone and iPod Touch can’t be found now. As of now, there’s no word on the release date, but Tony Hawk said it would be ‘dropping soon’. Same thing goes for the price as well, but non-the-less it will probably be worth it. This might be a direct port of the original Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 from 2000, but there’s no official announcement yet. The screenshot to the right is of the iPhone version just in case if you were wondering. The game looks more or less identical to the Nintendo 64 version.
