Bandai Namco Entertainment, publishers of numerous hit console games, have announced a new partnership with Sony Pictures to release a mobile game adaptation of the upcoming live-action film, Pixels. The free-to-play mobile adaption offers a different twist on typical tower defense game mechanics — players take on the role of the heroic Arcaders from the film to defeat aliens. Trust me, it even gets better. Iconic characters like PAC-MAN, Q*bert and Frogger, along with other characters from the 80′s, will be featured in the game as well for an extra nostalgia effect.
