August 14, 2014

Red Bull Air Race: The Game Coming to iOS This SeptemberGet ready folks — come this September, iOS gamers can sit behind the controls of genuine racing planes thanks to Red Bull‘s upcoming game, Red Bull Air Race The Game. Announced just a few days ago, Red Bull‘s latest iOS title will hit the shelves on September 4th. In just under a month, the action-packed arcade racing game will introduce players to one of world’s coolest racing series. Flights will be on the virtual versions of the real routes of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, which features twelve of the best pilots in the world across four continents. Along with the Austrian favorite Hannes Arch and the current world champion Paul Bonhomme from the United Kingdom, players must also face some of the twelve pilots from the Red Bull Air Race in one of six original aircraft.

Red Bull Air Race: The Game Coming to iOS This September

The game kicks off by familiarizing players with the controls before switching to the pilot camp in Brazil. From there, players must complete a variety of tasks, like finishing a perfect round, before then changing to career mode. Once completed, the hunt for the Red Bull Air Race world championship begins in real locations and courses. Each of these courses — USA, Abu Dhabi, or Malaysia — naturally has their own special tricks where the pilots can face up to 10 Gs. That being said, players must have quick reactions and instincts to maneuver the aircraft through the tight curves and loops as quickly as possible. Once in the virtual hangar, players can equip their planes with various paint jobs and upgrades. Those that have more fun in duels rather than a career as a pilot can try out the global Tournament Mode, where players face each other from all over the world through online multiplayer. Last but certainly not least, the game features music from AWOLNATION, Blitz Kids, Five Knives, and a few other artists. Read the rest of this article ->

‘The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land’ Trailer Released, Coming to iOS

July 24, 2014

The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land Trailer Released, Coming to iOSNext Games and AMC have recently released the very first trailer for the new The Walking Dead mobile game, based on the incredibly popular TV show. Titled The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land, players can experience the world of the iconic show through gameplay exclusively developed for smartphones and tablet devices. Developed by Next Games in close collaboration with AMC, the game will feature themes familiar to the TV series, where characters fight for survival in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world. A recurring theme of choosing the right survival strategy and making the most human choices possible is at the core of The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land. From what we are told, the game’s launch will coincide with the mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead Season 5 early next year. With that said, we’re very eager to get our hands on the game as soon as possible.

“Our approach is to stay true to the main themes of the TV show: survival strategy, finding safety for your people, balancing between right and wrong and, of course, action when it comes to fighting against the hordes of walkers. We respect the creators of The Walking Dead immensely and want this game to portray the world they have created as closely as possible,” said Teemu Huuhtanen, CEO, Next Games.

As of now this is all the information that was available to us, however, we’ll keep you updated as we hear more. Read the rest of this article ->

Tech Meets Furniture with iSkelter’s Latest ‘CADDY’ Kickstarter Project

July 12, 2014

iSkelter, the same folks who we met at MacWorld that are behind the SlateGo and Slate Mini, have recently announced their latest Kickstarter project that’s already off to a fantastic started. Called the “CADDY”, iSkelter‘s newest invention aims to bring technology and furniture together by offering a way to easily have your phone, drink, TV remote and even a book close to you when sitting down at your couch, recliner, or even laying on your bed. Just like all of their other products, the CADDY is made from bamboo and features a nice ergonomic design. At the time of this writing, the Kickstarter project has reached over $13,000 in funding with the original goal being just a mere $8,600. There’s still 10 days left to go and only nine reserved spots remaining to be guaranteed a CADDY when the pre-order units are shipped out in August.

As seen in the video above, iSkelter has put a lot of time and effort into crafting the CADDY to make it durable and high quality. Another great thing with products from iSkeltker is that they’re all made right here in America and are individually handcrafted with special attention to small details. From the details of the Kickstater page, the bamboo board comes in two different flavors — Hazelnut and Natural — while the steel base comes in Brushed Steel, Flat Black, Flat Gray, and Flat White. For more information, we highly recommend you check out the official Kickstater page as well as our huge gallery of images by clicking here. Read the rest of this article ->
