Thanks to the developers, we’ve been able to get our hands on Snapheal before its release. I’ve spend a few hours with the app and thoroughly enjoyed it. In addition to that, the developers let me put together a hands on preview video that you can see below.

At launch, Snapheal for Mac will cost $9.99 for a limited time only sale promotion, then jump up to $19.99. Quick list of features that Snapheal for Mac includes:

According to the developers, SpellCraft was built from the ground up for touch-enabled smartphones and tables, and is a mix between Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons. It also includes fantastic art by Farzad Varahramyan and an original music score as well.

Story

Students come from all over space and time to study from the Arch Mage Flume and his staff of wizardly teachers. The first day at the school is disrupted by a mystery — the dungeons beneath the school have been overrun by monsters. Seizing powerful magic artifacts from the school’s vaults, the SpellCraft teachers charged off into the dungeons to meet this threat — and were not heard from again. Now, pupils must quickly become masters as they struggle to learn the craft of magic and rescue their missing teachers from the dungeon.

Gameplay Detail

Players create their wizardly avatar, and outfit him or her with hundreds of clothing items and accessories (including animated pets). Each student has a nursery (see Screenshots) where they raise magical plants, harvesting them for the special ingredients used to create powerful spells. Working from their spell book, players swirl their spell cauldron with their finger over an open fire, mixing in ingredients, swirling left or right as the instructions dictate, taking care to go neither too fast nor too slow as they create their volatile spells. Once spells have been brewed, the player enters the dungeon, exploring each chamber one by one, encountering enemies and hazards in the form of monster cards. Players select their spells from the different disciplines of magic — Fire, Chaos, Water, and Earth — based on their knowledge of each monster’s nature and particular vulnerabilities. Casting spells uses a “golf swing” style mechanic where players must use timing to unleash their spell at the optimum moment.

Defeating monsters earns gold and yields experience. Players level up to gain access to more powerful spells, and use their gold to purchase new gear and even more exotic plants for their nursery.

For those of you who are RPG fans, I highly recommend you pick this game up when it is released. SpellCraft School of Magic will be free with in-app purchases and launch sometime in November.

Let’s now talk about other new features that you could find in FIFA 12! There will be a new instant replay system, that will let you make videos and ahare them on Youtube along with new dead-ball controls that will let you flick the ball with your finger and curve the ball (kinda like Flick Soccer or Flick Kick Football). In addition to that, a new ability to play multiplayer matches on your iPad with two iPhones as controllers, updated squads (yeah finally Fabregas is goin’ with Barca!), new challenges and a menu that is really looking similar to the console versions of the game, a brand new Sprint button, minor graphics improvements (same great looking graphics engine, but the animations on the players are improved a little) and new improvements related to the audio.

FIFA 12 will probably to be out in the same date as the release of the game on console versions (29th of September?) and this game looks like to be way better then First Touch Soccer, PES 12, Real Football 12 and others, in my opinion!

• Dream Track Nation (Chillingo & Pow Pow Games/$0.99) | When I saw the trailer about that game on Youtube,I was sure that this game will be an Insta Buy! You’ll probably tell me Why? Well Because you could find many wildest and weirdest track designs in this 2d platform racing game that makes it unique, there’s a Track Editor that lets you create more weird and fun tracks, It has GameCenter and Multiplayer Playability so you could play against your friends anywhere with Wi-Fi, Fun graphics and soundtrack and also a variety of different cars and motorbikes  to unlock and choose as you progress! There are three worlds to race through, including Texas,Alaska and New York, each with 16 different tracks, so there’s over 48 levels which is a lot! You can also do flips, backflips, collect stars, use special power ups and jump into huge gaps and do many other fun things with your vehicle and in the game! Well that games looks like to be a really fun one at that price! The game will take up to 17mbs.

• Deadlock: Online (Crescent Moon Games/FREE!) | Yep Crescent Moon Games are again going to release another new game called Deadlock: Online! This game is a Multiplayer Online 3D Dualstick shooter game with awesome graphics, similar a bit with Revolt . There are over 30 different weapons, armor and attachments, including different pistols, assault rifles, machine guns, grenades, scopes,and flashbangs, 5 Maps to play actuallyand more coming further and, of course, Online Tournaments that will let you earn some points to be able to unlock new weapons and awesome stuff! Another good thing with it is that you can play Survival Mode and Bot matches Offline! I had the chance to try the game before and I could tell you that its fun and…. FREE to play for a limited time btw with no ads! Yes it will, but of course you’ll see that there are, of course, IAP’s to buy in it…The game will be universal so you can enjoy playing it on any iDevice and will support GameCenter for Tournaments and also achievments. The game will take up to 67mbs.

• Jet Set Go (Chillingo/$0.99) | Again.. a new game by Chillingo is going to be released tonight! It’s called Jet Set Go and many of you probably heard about it before. This time managment game is created by the makers of the popular game, Sally’s Spa, so you should probably think that this will be really good too. That game will be Universal aswell, so you can play it in any iDevices! Other features that you could find in the game is that you can build your travel agency empire on the go and customize with unique upgrades, has 5 differing styles of time managment gameplay, Can experience 12 exotic vacation destinations from the Mayan Riviera to Hong Kong to Montreal (yeah :D!), Has 14 different customer types to test your service skills, has 3 difficulty settings,colorful visuals and graphics and u have the ability to earn 24 service awards and become an elite travel agent! Here’s more Appstore description about it : From the team that helped create Sally’s Spa comes a new game that ups the ante for the time management genre. Help April build her budding travel agency empire and fly customers around the world in this gorgeous game of planes, pools, and everything in between. From Hong Kong to Hawaii, nothing is off limits. Time management games come and go, but this one is here for a staycation. Btw I could also tell You that this game looks and is kinda a mix of Diner Dash + Airport Mania…really ! The game will take up to 96mbs.

• Qvoid  (Gavina Games/$1,99) | This  new Puzzle game releasing tonight looks to be a good one too, because it has  a challenging original gameplay with over 96 puzzle levels to play from easy to hard, 3D graphics and funky music, Game Center and Retina Display Support and its an Universal app, so you can play it in your iPad, Ipod Touch or Iphone! Its $2 and didn’t know yet if that game worth the money but we will see when it will be available later in the Appstore. Here’s some Appstore desciption about it : Control a white cube tumbling around a board, picking and carrying colors in its sides. Mix and match them to solve the puzzles. And then, try to do it in less steps to collect all the stars! With its smooth learning curve and original gameplay you can be sure to get lots of fun from the start. As you arrive to the most hard puzzles, though, you’ll need to squeeze every neuron of your brain to advance. Find your way through wonderful puzzles with cells that rotate, move, disappear, teleport… and more! That game will take only 9mb!

• Allied Star Police (PopCap & 4TH & Battery/FREE) | Another game made by 4th & Battery ( Pop Cap’s division) called Allied Star Police will be out tonigh in the US at 11PM..Like every 4TH & Battery game, this will be free. Another advantage with it is that the game will be universal! I heard a while ago from some sources that Popcap and 4th & Battery made that game dedicated for a kid that passed away and that wanted and dreamed before to absolutly see a game like this kind done. well here’s some Appstore description about it : A.S.P., or “Allied Star Police” is a fast-paced push-of-war combat sim. Players assume the role of the A.S.P. base commander, rapidly deploying a variety of automated battle vehicles and targeted ballistic ordinance to thwart an alien Flamion invasion. The game will take over 22mbs.

• Zombie Gunship (Limbic Software/$0,99) | The makers of Tower Madness and sound designers of the popular Gears of War® series are back with a new zombie (ugghh again) game called Zombie Gunship releasing tonight at 11PM aswell. Here’s a small Appstore description about the game : Zombie Gunship™ puts you in the gunner seat of a heavily-armed AC-130 ground attack aircraft. Strategically fire your powerful guns to slay endless waves of zombies and protect the remaining survivors of the zombie apocalypse! After each zombie killed, you collect a bounty, so you could use those coins  to upgrade your armaments and increase your zombie killing efficiency. The game will support GameCenter btw and will take only 14mbs.

• Wooords (Stray Robot Games/$0,99) | This Awesome Word game looks interesting and will be on a launch sale btw. Wooords is basically a freeform word game with unique fridge magnet gameplay.You should Touch, drag, move and combine letters to discover as many words as possible and Create combos to earn many points and that will increase your IQ. Each puzzle has one or more nine letter words that offers maximum points. There are 3 Game modes, over 30+ puzzles and is Universal too!(Looks like every new game goes universal :P) You could Compete with your friends too since it has GameCenter Support. Looks like to be a fun game and the game will take only 15mbs.

• 8-Ball Pool (Miniclip/$0,99) | This popular miniclip.com online pool games is finally available for the iPhone and Ipod Touch! The game will support GameCenter,have a Tutorial, of course, to learn to play and the same graphics as the site version! It will be paid, but cheap for only a single dollar…Here’s some Appstore description about the game : Pocket as many balls before time runs out in 8 ball billiards. A new rack of 14 balls is given when you are down to one. How far can you go? Once you become a pool professional, compare your score online with the millions of Miniclip users that play 8 Ball Pool. This game will take up to 42mbs.

• Pet Society Vacation (EA/FREE) | hmm yeah, another Popular Website kid online and social game made by EA is currently out btw. After releasing Littlest Pet Shop a long long long time ago, here comes Pet Society Vacation. Like always, you’ll find alot of in-app purchases in that game…In that social game, you’ll be able to meet and visit your friends that, of course, plays that game , in an island with your pet. You can care other friends pet to earn seashells that will let you buy things like outfits and accessories to dress up your pet, decorate your houseboat and also play mini games with your pet…you can also connect the game with your Facebook account…The game will take up to 18mbs. Please Note that Im not really sure that it will be available worldwide, I saw it actually available in NZ and Canada…hmm…

• One Man Army (Chillingo/$0.99) |  Yeah, you probably saw it previously in our ”coming later” article, but the game was pulled during his previous release before it was released in the US store at 11PM. Anyway, the game is coming back tonight in the Appstore. This ”TD” type game by Chillingo is going to be once again available tonight. This is another Tower Defense game, but without tanks or any other thing, only a human with many weapons that could help him a lot. Here’s a description of the app : The Earth is a desolate place, and the few remaining safe human settlements are under threat from a mutant invasion. You stand alone against the onslaught; fight back against them using a variety of weapons, as well as strategic defense placement in this action packed mix of shooter and tower defense gameplay! The Game will take up to 39.9 mbs.

I also didn’t mention many other games coming tonight such as Hero Teams (Similar to Worms) [$0,99], Leap Worm [$0,99] , P-47 – The Phantom Tiger [$1,99], The Jolly Gang’s: Spooky Adventure (by the popular hidden games company, Alawar) [There's a FREE and full version that costs $1,99] , Feed-The-Duck [$0,99] and many others! Happy Gaming ppl! =)

Om Nom! The great, top rated and popular game called Cut The Rope, that you should all know and definitely get if you haven’t, will soon get another update with a new pack of 25 brand new levels called ”Toy Box”. What’s special in that level pack is that you could find new things to help Om Nom to get those candies in his big mouth. That feature are springboards that lets the candy, simply, bounce toward to reach Om Nom’s mouth. This will be the fourth update of the game (Version 1.4) and it will be free, of course.

Other few things added with the update that you should note, is that you’ll now be able to choose the kind of candy that you would like to feed Om Nom (look at the pink ”donut” in the trailer! Cupcakes and Hard Candy will also be available) and a new IAP (in-app purchase) called Star Key will be available (this will let you to simply unlock all levels,boxes and even future boxes of levels in the game). • 9mm (Gameloft/$6.99) | The Long awaited Grand Theft Auto/Max Payne esque game will be available tonight! You surely won’t wait the moment and buy it right now, because this game should be one of the best Gameloft games of this whole year! As you should know, we’ve talked alot about it  here in PFOA and the game will be available as an Universal App , Like BackStab, for a price of $6,99! What you should notice now is that the game will include multiplayer playability and the game will take up to 1gb when you sync it, according to some people that already tested the game. We, at PFOA, can’t wait to test it as soon as possible =)

• Reckless Getaway (Polarbit & Pixelbite/$2.99) | I’ve already talked about it previously, but ill have to tell you anyway once again what will this game have. The creators of Reckless Racing, publiahed by EA, are back with another new title! The game has awesome and fun cartoonish graphics, similar I could say to Lanes Splitter, and what you must do is simply outrun from the police on 16 levels. You should also avoid obstacles that could end your run at anytime and use aswell things to help you like ramps or trucks to jump and also smash and crash things with your vehicle. The game will be also Universal and take up to 58mbs.

• Xtreme Wheels (Bravo/$3.99) | After Touch Racing Nitro and Volcano Escape, the guys at Bravo revealed to release tonight an upcomnig motocross trial game called Xtreme Wheels. By looking at the graphics, I could say that it is well done like their previous games such like Touch Racing Nitro in exemple. The game will include tons of content like explosives, ladders, barrels, twisted ramps, huge gaps, and precarious cargo containers. The game will take up to 89mbs.

• Blobster (Chillingo/$0.99) | Looks like Chillingo is releasing games every Thursday :S ahhh. Anyway, this upcoming platform adventure game with cartoonish graphics should be a fun one, here’s the AppStore description of it : Get ready to meet one gooey hero…Blobtopia is at risk from some nasty pollution from the evil Big and Powerful Corporation, and it’s up to you to help! Blobster is an awesome platforming adventure with a twist! • Hungry Chicks (Clickgamer/$0.99) | This is another game from Chillingo/Clickgamer.com releasing tonight called Hungry Chicks…The game will be described as a physic puzzler game with a courageous chicks that should simply catch worms to feed the little chicks. Anyway, here’s again the AppStore description about it : The courageous bird catches the worm! Your chicks have rumbling tummies and it’s up to mommy and daddy bird to feed them an extra big helping of worms—yum! It’s not going to be easy though, since you left the nest someone has come along and put in a bunch of crazy and dangerous obstacles. • Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty (Marvel/$4.99) | Yep you guessed well, Marvel is releasing tonight another Superhero ,of the Marvel Collection, game! The graphics seems to be good, here’s the AppStore description of it : Play as Captain America the First Avenger as you attempt to stop the Red Skull from tipping the balance of power! Sentinel of Liberty features stunning HD graphics optimized for Retina Displays! Play as the Super Soldier Captain America in this epic action game. • Quiz Climber (Chillingo/$1.99) [Theres a free version available for it and an ad-free version without ads in it] |  This should be another special Chillingo app based as a Quiz game. • Pocket RPG (Crescent Moon Games/$2.99) [IPAD ONLY] | I normally don’t talk about upcoming iPad games, but i will for this time, because CM games are going to release Pocket RPG for the iPad tonight! We’ve showed you previously many exclusive screenshots about it and now you’ll finally be able to buy it! A thing that you should notice is that it is for now only compatible for the iPad and i said for now, because we never know when could CM Games think to make it Universal like Aralon ^^. Anyway here’s the AppStore Description of it : Enter a world overrun by hordes of monsters. Explore trap-filled dungeons and face mighty bosses. Collect piles of treasure and items and invest in dozens of abilities and unlockable equipment. Test your skills against the oncoming darkness. The game will take up to 80.5mbs.

You guys probably know that EA Mobile will soon release many great games such as Fifa 12, Sims : Medieval, Madden NFL12, Battlefield 3 and Need For Speed : The Run….buy hey wait a sec, wasn’t Shift 2 released before The Run and is not available yet in the Appstore? Well during EA’s summer showcase of this year, they’ve announce that probably in August, they’ll release the follow up of the original NFS:Shift , NFS:Shift 2.

After that EA acquired the service and australian company Firemint, we are waiting to get a better NFS games from them with better graphics and great true racing experience. And that’s what EA was trying to do with it and they’ve added more new features too like a new cockpit camera view and they’ve also added tons of new stuff and enhanced the graphics.

But what you should probably heard of before, is that EA is also planning to integrate  a new multiplayer system (yeah again), but for their games called Origin. Origin will let you check your friends list, news or you could also make challenges do your buddies in your favorite EA games.

Yeah, we all know, its the same thing as Game Center, Gameloft Live, OpenFeint or another multiplayer system, but anyway, who cannot accept to get those new things for free of course…And you’ll always get of course a quick race mode, a career mode and also a multiplayer mode.

Another great thing with it is that the tracks will be in really random cities like Rio, Abu Dhabi and others….We in PFOA, can’t wait to get the game as soon as possible and to test it out… Btw you can find out a video hands-on preview here on Youtube.

Polarbit and Pixelbite, two of the companies that provided you the great game called Reckless Racing, are looking forward to release a new ”Reckless” car game called Reckless Getaway. The game has awesome and fun cartoonish graphics, similar I could say to Lanes Splitter, and what you must do is simply outrun from the police on tracks that will never end .

..In the meantime, you should also avoid obstacles that could end your run at anytime and use aswell things to help you like ramps or trucks to jump. The game should be probably available around the end of summer and will be available for the iphone and android phones too.

• Block Break 3 Unlimited (Gameloft/$0.99) | The third Block Breaker game made by Gameloft will be available tonight! With new features, Power Ups and Modification added, the game could probably compete against the great addictive arcade style game,Coin Drop! by Full Fat Games, or even against Peggle by the guys at PopCap. What you should notice is that they finally made it with a low size of only 20.1 mbs!

• Sword and Soldiers (Chillingo and Two Tribes/$2.99) | This new upcoming action-cartoonish( a bit like Axe In Face)-strategy game will probably be a good and funny game for many of you. Here’s the Description of the App that can let you know a bit what to do in this game: Swipe, poke and tap to command an army of Vikings in their quest to create the ultimate BBQ sauce, lead the Aztecs in defense of the Holy Pepper and build an array of explosive Chinese toys! Build your own forces and defeat your foes using dart blowers, giant boulders, ninja monkeys (yes, we really mean it – ninja monkeys) and many more!Note that the game will take up to 107 mbs without syncing.

• Finger Shoes (Chillingo/$0.99) | Looks like Chillingo will release many games tonight ahh, here’s Finger Shoes small Description : Hop, skip and jump your way across wonderfully colorful and varied environments tapping the golden squares along the way. Finger Shoes combines cartoon visuals with addicting, intuitive gameplay. This is one game that’s fun for all the family! The Game will take up to 54.8 mbs.

• The King Of Fighters-i (SNK PLAYMORE/$10,99) | This popular japanese style 2D fighting game will be available tonight aswell. The problem with it is the price, do the game really worth $11 ?
