iPhone 5 Gaming Apps
The launch of the iPhone 5 is all the craze right now. The latest, innovative Apple product will be available on September 21st in many countries around the world. With the new specifications including, the all new A6 core processor, upgraded graphics and larger Retina Display, gaming on this device will be breathtaking.

During the launch preview, there was a demonstration of the new graphic capabilities where games, video and 3D maps were displayed. The audience responded positively to these new features and I am sure game developers are going to apply stunning graphics and features to their game updates to that the full capability of the iPhone 5 are utilized.
The possibilities for gaming apps has increased significantly due to the new hardware that has been implemented. However beyond the hardware, there are also major tweaks to the software that will enable gamers to play against each other with the improved Game Center. The new feature of Game Center allows one user to play the game as they normally would and challenge another user to try and beat their score. This enables many games to potentially engage users for longer periods and keep them coming back for more and challenging other players more frequently.
The new battery life of the iPhone 5 will also allow gamers to play for longer and not worry about their battery as much as they would if they were using one of the preceding iPhones. With over 700,000 apps and counting there is a game app for every type of gamer out there. Whether they are into strategy, racing, shooters, simulation, gambling, role-playing, trivia and many more, there will be several options for the keen gamer.
The fact that Apple didn’t change the width of the phone and only the height ensure that the users will still be able to hold the phone comfortably in their hand. This is an extremely important factor for gamers. If the phone was wider, then, the creators of the gaming apps would have to create the game in a way that the controls are accessible to the users fingers easily, which could prove difficult if the phone was chunky.
With the “World’s best phone” the iPhone 5 is also the “World’s best portable device”. The iPhone knows how to have a good time.
