Smartmoney.com and PCWorld.com have both picked this app Simply Declare as one of their top Summer or Travel apps respectively, and so I decided to take a look for myself and contact the developers for more info. As you can tell from above they were nice enough to give me a few extra codes for a giveaway along with a review as well. Recently I went on vacation to Colorado and spent sometime hiking, visiting various stores and malls in Denver. So, as one would expect I needed money for various activities and buying souvenirs along with various other items at the mall. I decided it was a perfect opportunity to put Simply Declare to the test and see how useful it’d prove to be…

Without any doubt it was useful for keeping track of expenses and how much money I had left to spend. The UI of Simply Declare is very clean, polished, and nicely finished allowing you to easily access everything the app offers in a simple yet effective way. While the UI is nice, learning the ropes and getting the hang of the app (or gist of it) at first may be a bit tricky at first , however, it shouldn’t require too time to master it.

Simply Declare does pack a few handy features such as taking  pictures of the various receipts you may collect when purchasing items. In addition to that, the app support multiple currencies if you are going to another part of the world for example. All in all though, Simply Declare is a fantastic app any frequent traveler should use or say you’re going on a vacation and want a handy app to keep track of receipts, invoices, and purchases. While I did use Simply Declare within the U.S., the app is more so geared towards foreign purchases and traveling. To my knowledge, if you are traveling for months and you want to keep track of what you buy that you will be bringing back into your home country, this is the only app that does this.

So when you come back into your home country, you have to prove the the border what you spend and they (may) have limits as to how much you can bring in.
