Crescent Moon Games, publisher of several high quality iPhone and iPad games, has announced yet another role-playing game for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad (that’s alright though!). Developed by Stolen Couch Games, Kids vs. Goblins is an unique tactical action RPG with intuitive controls and a compelling story. Guide three heroes through 7 exotic environments filled with blood-thirsty enemies and each hero has a unique set of magical spells that are yours to control. Every situation calls for different spells and tactics, so choosing the right combination of spells is very important when you enter into a hostile area. The game will contain 80 different spells for you to master and combine, to unleash interesting and devastating effects on your enemies. Silverfish from Chaotic Box has been out for iOS for quite sometime now and I was very excited to hear that iPad users were going to get a taste of how great Silverfish is. I usually would try to leave you guys hanging to know whether an app is good or not but with this app I am going to tell you why it’s a great app to try.

Silverfish is a modern retro-styled avoidance game like the famous Tilt to Live. Of course like Tilt to Live the whole point of the game is to avoid enemies at all cost but ultimately you are destined to die, however, with special different types of power ups you can survive in the game longer than usual if you use them right.

There are four modes “Onslaughter”, “Reaper”, “Scavenger”, and “Haste” to provided you with enough intense action of survival of the fittest. It has stunningly beautiful neon plasma colors that take advantage of the iPad’s big display and superb musical soundtrack.

Instead of typical tilting or a D-pad the makers decided to have you touch wherever you want to go. Being on an iPad it is much easier to control than on the iPhone or iPod, however, if you like the D-Pad option you can easily go into settings and set your default controls to D-Pad.

If you played this on iPhone and you wanted to also play on your iPad or you just found out about this app for the first time I defiantly recommend trying out this retro style arcade game. One of the great new features added to the iPad version is that it supports iCade and it comes with two new leaderboards and new GameCenter achievements.
