When Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars first came out, it was only for the iPhone and 2nd Generation (and 3rd Generation) iPod Touch. Now there is a way to get Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on your 1st Generation iPod Touch. Follow the steps below for how to get GTA:CW on your 1st Generation iPod Touch:

1. Download Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. [App Store Link]
2. Copy the file to your desktop.
3. Delete the game from your iTunes library.
4. Download WinRAR .
5. Right-click on the IPA file (that you copied to your desktop) and select: Open With… > WinRAR”.
6. Navigate through the Payload folder, then drag the RSlP1.app to your desktop.
7. Drag and drop the the RSlP1.app into your iTunes library, so your new GTA:CW should now be there.
8. Then sync your iPod Touch 1st Generation.

If you get a ‘You are not authorized to install this application’ error somewhere along the way while doing this, please follow these steps:

1. Open iTunes.
2. Go to Store > Authorize Computer.
3. Fill out the information that you purchased the game with.
